Q: Who makes your lures?
A: We are a husband and wife team. We fight daily over bathroom time, whose turn it is to make dinner and which one of us gets to paint the lures.
Q: Do you have any suggestions on how to display the lures?
A: Our personal favorite is to have them lying on something like a shelf, wooden box, etc. They may also be hung from the rear hook, with the nose towards the ground or from the leader and swivel provided for this use.
Q: Will the lure I receive look exactly like the one on your website?
A: Nearly so. Again, these are individual, handmade pieces and as such, slight variability in shape, color and antiquing should be expected.
Q: Do you have a return policy?
A: We want all of our customers to be happy with the product they receive. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your lure, simply send it back for a full refund of purchase price.
Q: Some of the lures look like they have holes in them. What is that?
A: Worms! Much of the wood we collect from the forest has natural worm holes. Some of our favorite pieces have tons of holes in them although the ones we sell tend towards fewer. Don’t worry, most have vacated by the time we cut the logs.
